The Repeal! Procession happened on the 13th April 2018, starting from the Good Shepard Magdalen Laundry complex which is now the Limerick School of Art and Design on Clare Street. Approximately 200 people took part in the slow, measured procession through the streets of Limerick, following the traditional routes of religious parades and processions in the past. The Procession was silent except for the solo voice of Breda Mayock singing her haunting composition 'Our Eyes' accompanied by 4 ukuleles. Different artist groups also took part - the Cut Out Dolls, Limerick Dance, The Ukeladies, EVA artists and many grass-roots members of ACREA from all over the country. The Repeal! Procession was reviewed and written about by international media and publications such as The Guardian, Elephant Art, The Art Newspaper, Studio International, Frieze Magazine among others.
